Over the past 30 years, Matt has helped organizations navigate change, scale with purpose and drive innovation through storytelling, culture, and values-led strategies. With deep expertise in brand & digital transformations, business strategy, organizational design, change management and coaching, he has supported C-level executives and founders achieve global growth.
He has worked with globally recognized brands including Audi, Boeing, Four Seasons, Gatorade, Google, M&M's, Microsoft, Netflix, P&G, Samsung and Unilever.
In 2019, Matt made an intentional switch to focus on more social impact work. After a seeing a TEDx Toronto Talk, Matt helped Director X launch Operation PreFrontal Cortex in Toronto to help bring mindfulness to at risk communities. In 2021, Matt started advising social impact organizations on how to scale their impact through the Rippleworks advisory network.
The advisory work included YLabs, World Resource Institute and Forest Carbon. Prior to joining Rippleworks full-time as their head of marketing, Matt stayed on with Forest Carbon as a fractional CMO to help them rebrand the company.
Matt has also mentored executives and founders through programs at Techstars, Ryerson's DMZ, MLSE’s Future of Sports Lab, and TIFF’s Digital Advisory Board as well as being an Executive Advisor with early stage companies like Forward Studio, Fandrop, and Meta4.
He has been a speaker at SXSW twice, Banff World Media Festival (4x), the Vancouver International Film Festival and has helped 3 different agencies win Agency of the Year as well as Cannes Lions, Best in Shows at the CMAs & FAB Awards, ADCCs, Effies and LIAAs along with many other North American awards.
